RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
WHEREAS, Linda Masica served the community on the Edina City Council and Housing and
Redevelopment Authority for eight years, serving as a member from January 1, 2001, to
December 31, 2oo8; and
WHEREAS, Linda Masica also served Edina as a member of the Public Art Committee during
her terms on the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Linda Masica has been a champion of the community during her tenure, leaving a
legacy to all Edina citizens;and
• WHEREAS, Linda Masica has exemplified the City's mission of providing effective and valued
public services, maintaining a sound public infrastructure, offering premiere public services
and guiding the development and redevelopment of lands within the City, all in a manner
that sustains and improves the uncommonly high quality of life enjoyed by residents and
businesses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that her fellow Edina City Council members, City staff and
all Edina residents hereby express their thanks and appreciation to
Linda Masica
for her years of dedication to the community as a member of the Edina City Council.
