RESOLUTION NO. 2017-72
APPROVING A SUBDIVISION
AT 10 SOUTHDALE CENTER TO BUILD AN
RH FURNITURE STORE AND RESTAURANT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Edina, Minnesota, as follows:
Section 1. BACKGROUND.
1.01 RH on behalf of Simon Properties is requesting a subdivision of 10 Southdale Center.
1.02 The request is to accommodate a new RH Furniture and Restaurant in the southwest corner
of the Southdale property.
1.03 The proposed new Registered Land Survey is attached as "Exhibit A."
1.04 On June 28, 2017, the Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the
proposed subdivision. Vote: 7 Ayes and 0 Nays.
1.05 On July 18, 2017, the City Council held a public hearing on the proposed subdivision.
Section 2. FINDINGS
2.01 Approval is based on the following findings:
I. The proposed subdivision meets the required standards and ordinance for a
subdivision.
Section 3. APPROVAL
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Edina, approves
the Preliminary Plat at 10 Southdale Center.
Approval is subject to the following Conditions:
I. Park Dedication fee of $14,200 will be required at the time of building permit.
