RESOLUTION NO 2017-101
AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF EDINA
TO ENTER INTO A PUBLIC HEALTH PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE AGREEMENT
WITH THE CITY OF BLOOMINGTON
WHEREAS, the CITY, acting as a Community Health Board, and pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
145A.04, is empowered to enter into a contractual agreement for the provision of statutorily prescribed
public health services, and
WHEREAS, the Public Health Division within the City of Bloomington is a duly certified public
health agency operating in accordance with all applicable federal and state requirements, and
WHEREAS, the CITY has for fifteen years contracted with the Public Health Division of the City of
Bloomington for emergency preparedness and response services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Edina City CounFil that the Mayor and the City
Manager are authorized to execute a Public Health Preparedness and R6rsponse Agreement with the City
of Bloomington to complete administrative and programmatic dutie ,Community Health Board.
