WHEREAS, the Edina City Council on the 5th day of April, 2005, fixed a date for a
Council hearing on the proposed street reconstruction, Improvement No. BA-312;and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was
given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 7th day of June 2005, for Improvement No. BA-
312 reconstructing the existing bituminous pavement and base, replace fire hydrants, installing
new watermain, repairing/replacing the sanitary sewer where needed and updating and
extending storm sewer on Bridge Lane and Townes Road at which time all persons desiring to
be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council has duly considered the views
of all persons interested, and being fully advised of the pertinent facts, does hereby determine
to proceed with the construction of said improvement, including all proceedings which may be
necessary in eminent domain for the acquisition of necessary easements and rights hereby
designated and shall be referred to in all subsequent proceedings as Improvement Project No.
BA-312 reconstructing the existing bituminous pavement and base, replace fire hydrants,
installing new watermain, repairing/replacing the sanitary sewer where needed and updating
and extending storm sewer on Bridge Lane and Townes Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Improvement No. BA-312 reconstructing the existing
• bituminous pavement and base, replace fire hydrants, installing new watermain,
repairing/replacing the sanitary sewer where needed and updating and extending storm sewer
on Bridge Lane and Townes Road is hereby ordered as proposed with construction of the
improvement to be completed during the 2006 construction season.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the feasibility report for Improvement No. BA-312 is
hereby received by the Edina City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Engineer is hereby desi ated as the engineer
for this improvement. The engineer shall cause plans and specifications t be prepared for the
making of such improvement.
