United States and the State of Minnesota and will faithfully discharge the duties of the
Office of Commissioner of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Edina, Minnesota,
according to the law and to the best of my judgment and ability, so help me God.
I do further swear that I am, and was at the time of my appointment a resident of
Edina, Minnesota.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Housing and Redevelopment Act of the
State of Minnesota, and by virtue of my office as Mayor, I hereby appoint GLENN L.
SMITH, of Edina, Minnesota, to serve a term which coincides with his term of office as
Council Member, said term ending January 1, 1999.
IN WITNESS whereof, I have hereunto signed my name as Mayor, of the City of
Edina, Minnesota, and caused the official corporate seal of said City of Edina to be
