Edina Art Center Presents Art Tile Exhibition
Edina, Minn., Jan. 5, 2016 – Later this month, the Edina Art Center will showcase the Art Tile Exhibition in
the Margaret Foss Gallery, 4701 W. 64th St.
The Art Tile Exhibition is a juried collection of artwork by the Handmade Tile Association, a diverse group of
independent artists who design and create artwork incorporating tile. The exhibition is free and open to the
public. Light refreshments will be provided at the opening 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 11.
“HTA is a unique and diverse group in the Twin Cities,” said Edina Art Center General Manager Michael Frey. “I
feel fortunate to partner with this talented group of tile and mosaic artists, tile historians and tile setters.”
During the exhibition, the Art Center will highlight local artist Deb LeAir, whose work has been exhibited and
sold at art festivals across the country, as well as published in magazines and newspapers. LeAir will teach a
one-day workshop 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30.
