Braemar Golf Course Driving Range Scheduled to Open April 15
Edina, Minn., April 7, 2016 – The newly renovated driving range at Braemar Golf Course, 6364 John Harris
Drive, is scheduled to open Friday, April 15.
“We’re excited for the soft opening of the new-and-improved driving range. It’s the first hurdle to opening up
the all-new practice facility and Academy 9 Golf Course,” said General Manager Joe Abood.
The improved range is over 300 yards long and will accommodate up to 58 golfers at one time. New target
greens have been added and a new irrigation system will improve turf conditions and reduce maintenance time
and expense. The renovated range is almost 100 yards longer than the past range and the size of the tee area
has almost doubled.
Golfers will hit from mats until August to allow for turf growth. The Academy 9 Par 3 golf course is scheduled
