Mayor to Lead Monthly Walk at Arneson Acres Park
Edina, Minn., July 6, 2016 – Mayor Jim Hovland will lead this month’s “Walk with the Mayor” 9
a.m. on Saturday, July 16, at Arneson Acres Park, 4711 W. 70th St.
Participants will have the opportunity to walk around Arneson Acres and discuss new developments
and other current City issues with the Mayor.
“Arneson Acres is a beautiful location with the greenhouse and the wonderful flowers planted by the
Edina Garden Council. You will not want to miss this,” said Recreation Supervisor Donna Tilsner.
Walkers should meet at the greenhouse at the park.
Walk with the Mayor events are typically held the third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. In case of
rain, residents should meet at Caribou Coffee in the center court of Southdale Center.
