Edina Fall into the Arts Festival set for Sept. 10-11
Edina, Minn., Aug. 23, 2016 – The “Edina Fall into the Arts Festival,” held every fall at Centennial Lakes
Park, 7499 France Ave. S., will take place Saturday, Sept. 10 and Sunday, Sept. 11.
The art festival is a benefit for the Edina Crime Prevention Fund, Edina Art Center and Centennial Lakes Park.
Vendor booths will be located to the north and south of the Hughes Pavilion along the lakefront and to the
south on the upper terrace parking deck in front of the 7601 Centennial Lakes office buildings.
Each year, more than 250 artists, food vendors, sponsors and art enthusiasts celebrate the last days
of summer by joining the community in what artists have called “one of the most beautiful venues in the
country.” The festival is attended by more than 20,000 people annually.
The Edina Fall Into the Arts Festival will feature approximately 214 exhibitors representing diverse media such
as sculpture, glass, wearable art, pottery, jewelry, photography, fiber arts and more.
“I have the privilege of organizing Edina’s fall art festival and working with some of the best artists working
regionally and in the Twin Cities today,” said Edina Fall into the Arts Executive Director and Edina Art Center
General Manager Michael Frey. “We have beautiful weather and a beautiful location to stroll and shop for
hand-crafted items.”
This year’s Festival is sponsored by presenting sponsor Pacy Erck and major sponsors Aurora on France/York
Gardens, Blick Art Materials, Borton Volvo, EdinAlarm, Edina Art Center and the Edina Crime Prevention
Fund.
