Roads to Close for Homecoming Parade Sept. 16
Edina, Minn., Sept. 1, 2016 – Each year, Edina High School celebrates its homecoming with a parade
through the streets of Edina. This year, the parade will be held the evening of Friday, Sept. 16.
To ensure the safety of parade-goers and participants, the Police Department will temporarily close some
neighborhood roads.
Residents and visitors of Edina should expect the following road closures in conjunction with the parade:
Wooddale Avenue between 50th Street and 58th Street
58th Street between Wooddale Avenue and Concord Avenue
Concord Avenue between 58th Street and South View Lane
South View Lane between Concord Ave and Normandale Road
Wooddale will close at approximately 4 p.m. with the rest of the route -- 58th Street, Concord Avenue and
South View Lane -- at approximately 4:30 p.m. All roads are expected to reopen by 6 p.m.
