Mayor Hovland Leads Monthly Walk at Rosland Park
Edina, Minn., Oct 5, 2016 – Jim Hovland will lead his monthly “Walk with the Mayor” at Rosland
Park 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. The park address is 4300 W 66th Street.
Residents can join the mayor in the walk around Rosland Park to have a discussion about City
developments and other important events.
“A new playground that is accessible to all will be highlighted. He will point out the new pickleball
courts along the way as well,” said Recreation Supervisor Donna Tilsner, who helps organize the
events.
If the weather isn’t desirable, participants should meet at Caribou Coffee in the center court of
Southdale Center.
The walks are usually held the third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. For more information about
the Walk with the Mayor events, contact Tilsner at 952-833-9571.
