Mayor Hovland Leads Monthly Walk at Braemar Arena
Edina, Minn., Dec 12, 2016 – Braemar Arena will host Jim Hovland for “Walk with the Mayor” at
9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17.
Residents can join the mayor in the walk around the track at Braemar Arena to have a discussion
about City developments and other important events.
“Friedrich Nietzsche once said, ‘All truly great thoughts are conceived while walking.’ So join the
Mayor for a morning walk and conversation,” said Recreation Supervisor Nicole Gorman, who helps
organize the events.
Participants should meet in the lobby at Braemar Arena.
The walks are usually held the third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. For more information about
the Walk with the Mayor events, contact Gorman at 952-833-9571.
