Reward Offered For Stolen Sculpture
Edina, Minn., June 14, 2017 – The Edina Crime Prevention Fund is offering a $1,000 reward for
information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the theft
of the bronze sculpture “Dreams Take Flight” from Centennial Lakes Park.
The sculpture that was secured to a boulder is of a young girl standing, while playing with a toy
airplane. It was located in the northeast corner of the park. The statue is approximately 3 feet tall and
2.5 feet wide. It weighs around 150 pounds and is valued at $25,000. The piece was last seen around
noon June 11.
If you have information regarding this incident or suspects, contact the Edina Police Department at
952-826-1600, any time of day. Your identity may remain confidential. The Edina Crime Prevention
Fund is the sole judge of any point of contention regarding the reward, and any decision on any issue
connected with the reward is final.
