Walk with the Mayor at Pamela Park
Edina, Minn., June 7, 2017 – Edina Mayor Jim Hovland will lead the monthly “Walk with the
Mayor” at Pamela Park 6:30 pm. June 15.
This summer, Walk with the Mayor will be held on Thursday evenings to accommodate those
residents who travel on weekends. Come fall, the event will go back to its normal time on Saturdays.
“I look forward to being on a summertime schedule where we can meet on a Thursday evening, have
a good walk with fine conversation -- hopefully with great Minnesota weather -- with residents who
will then have their weekends free to pursue their warm-weather interests,” Hovland said.
Participants should meet the Mayor at the park at 6:30 p.m. In the event of rain, walkers should meet
at Caribou Coffee in the center court of Southdale Center at 6:45 p.m.
