The public now has several ways to communicate in writing with members of the City Council: Send an email to CityCouncil@EdinaMN.gov. Messages sent to this email addresses are automatically sent to all City Council members, as well as the City Manager and Assistant City Manager. Complete the “Council Correspondence” form on the City’s website. Beginning with the Nov. 8 City Council meeting, only correspondence submitted through the form will be automatically included in the meeting packet in the “Correspondence” section. The Council Correspondence form must be completed no later than noon the Thursday before a meeting in order for the comments to be included in that packet. Send an individual email to one of the Council Members. The Council Members have individual email addresses, which can be found online. Submit paper correspondence to the Council. Staff will continue to scan and email to the City Council Members physical letters and other correspondence addressed to them and received at Edina City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St. Staff will not include such correspondence in a meeting packet unless requested by the sender or a Council Member. Email sent to the City’s generic account, mail@EdinaMN.gov, will continue to be read by the front desk staff and routed to staff or Council Members as appropriate or requested.
