Walk with the Mayor Strolls to the Galleria
Edina, Minn., Nov. 28, 2017 – Edina Mayor Jim Hovland will lead the monthly “Walk with the
Mayor” 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Galleria.
Walk with the Mayor provides Edina residents an opportunity to voice concerns, share ideas or
simply get a cup of coffee with Hovland. This month, guests may even get a chance to finish some
holiday shopping as the event moves to the Galleria.
“Please join me for Walk with the Mayor at the Galleria the third Saturday in December,” said
Hovland. “We will view together the new 25,000-square-foot addition to the mall, enjoy their
beautiful holiday decorations and have a terrific time walking, talking and maybe doing a little window
shopping, too!”
Guests should meet at the new Starbucks on the east side of the Galleria around 8:45 a.m. The walk
is scheduled for an hour.
The next Walk with the Mayor is scheduled for Jan. 20.
