City of Edina
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edina has received from the County of
Hennepin a list of lands in said municipality which became the property of the State of
Minnesota for non-payment of property taxes, which said list was dated December 6,
1999,Non-Conservation Classification List 1114NC.
WHEREAS, the parcels in said list identified as PID 06-116-21-13-0002, PID 28-117-21-
21-0024 and PID 30-028-24-22-0036, have heretofore been classified by the Board of
County Commissioners of Hennepin County, Minnesota, as non-conservation land the
sale thereof and has heretofore been authorized by said Board of County
Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Edina City Council that there are no existing
or pending special assessments on said parcels; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Edina City Council that said parcels need not
be withheld from sale pursuant to M.S. 85.012; M.S. 92.461; M.S. 282.01, Subd. 8.; M.S.
282.018,Subd. 1;or M.S. 282.018,Subd. 2;
• NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Edina City Council that the said
classification is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Edina City Council that, acting pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes 282.01, Subd. 7a, it has determined that said parcels of land are not
buildable according to the City's Zoning Ordinance and that sale of said parcel be
limited to the adjacent properties for attachment thereto.
