RECEIVING TH FEASIBILITY REPORT
CALLING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT HEARING
AND AUTHORIZING SOLICITATION OF BIDS
IMPROV ME NT NO. SA -2
INDIAN WAY WEST dOUND ABATEMENT
City of Edina
WHEREAS, the City of Edina previously received petition signed by 100% of the affected property
owners requesting sound abatement improvemei its along McCauley Trail adjacer t to T.H. 169; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined th project is feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Edina City Council as follows:
1. The Feasibility Report for Indian Way Sound
Aba
ement Improvement Proje
SA -2 is hereby received;
and
2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and
directed
to prepare plains and
specifications for said
improvement; and
3. Advertisement for bids shall be placed and bids
received
in accordance xyith
atutory requirements;
4. A hearing shall be held on thje 5th day of June,

proposed assessment and at such time an

5. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a

published once in the official newspaper at

two weeks prior to the hearing,
and the notice shall
state the total cost of the improvement. The
City
Jerk shall also cause mailed
notice to be given to the
owner of each parcel described in the assessment
roll not less than two weeks
prior to the hearing.
