Edina Art Center’s Annual Teacher/Student Exhibition Opens
Feb. 8
Edina, Minn., Jan. 31, 2018 – The Edina Art Center will host its annual Teacher/Student
Exhibition Feb. 8-March 7 at the Margaret Foss Gallery. The opening reception is free and open to
the public 5-8 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Edina Art Center, 4701 W. 64th St.
View artwork created by the Edina Art Center’s talented teachers and students during this annual
exhibition and celebration. The Margaret Foss Gallery will be filled with an inspiring and diverse
selection of artwork, including paintings, drawings, jewelry, pottery, sculpture, photography and
mixed media. The Tea Room Gallery will exhibit artwork from Edina Art Center’s Art Academy
students, Grades 2-12 in an exhibit titled, “A Student’s Journey.”
The exhibition is also a great opportunity for the public and prospective students to visit the Edina
Art Center and discover the types of art classes available.
The Edina Art Center Teacher/Student Exhibition is free and may be viewed during regular business
hours. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Saturday.
