Memorial Blood Center Comes to Edina City Hall
Edina, Minn., Jan. 16, 2018 – The Edina Police Department and Memorial Blood Centers will host
a blood drive 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Edina City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St.
The blood drive is open to the public, but participants must sign up in advance. To sign up, visit
www.mbcherohub.club and search sponsor code 0111.
Edina Police Sgt. Kevin Rofidal helped organize the event. Rofidal has been helping plan and run the
event for the past six years.
“As police officers, we recognize the need for blood not only during a trauma situation involving the
public, but as police officers,” said Rofidal. “If we get wounded or badly injured, oftentimes you’re
going to need blood.”
