Walk with the Mayor Visits Edina High School
Edina, Minn., Feb. 6, 2018 – Edina Mayor Jim Hovland will hold his monthly Walk with the Mayor 9-10 a.m.
Saturday, March 17, at Edina High School, 6754 Valley View Road.
Guests should meet at Edina High School by Door 5 shortly before 9 a.m. the day of the event.
This month, Edina residents joining Mayor Hovland will get a chance to walk through Edina High School. Edina
Public Schools will hold a construction open house that day from 9 to 11 a.m. to show parents, students and
residents all the changes happening in and around the school.
“We have an extraordinary opportunity in the month of March for Walk with the Mayor and that is to get a
tour of Edina High School and see all the renovations and additions that have been made to that wonderful
facility,” said Hovland. “Please join me for the tour. You will be greatly impressed with and proud of the
investment we have made together in the premier educational building in our community.”
Walk with the Mayor provides Edina residents an excellent opportunity to voice concerns, share ideas or
simply get in some steps with Hovland.
Next month, Walk with the Mayor will be held 9-10 a.m. Saturday, April 21.
