The project would restore approximately 2,000 feet of Minnehaha Creek by removing an existing 4- foot dam and restore a more diverse riparian community through the creek corridor. Due to project activities associated with Minnehaha Creek, a mandatory Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) is required per Minnesota Rules 4410.4300. The City of Edina will accept written comments on the EAW during the public review and comment period, which concludes at 4:30 p.m. June 29. Written comments should be submitted to Engineering Services Manager Ross Bintner, Edina Public Works, 7450 Metro Blvd., Edina MN 55439. Comments may be submitted via email to rbintner@EdinaMN.gov; put “Arden Park EAW” in the subject line. If submitting comments electronically, please include your name and mailing address.
