Parade of Boats at Centennial Lakes June 10
Edina, Minn., May 18, 2018 – The Edina Model Yacht Club (EMYC) will put on its 26th-annual
Parade of Boats Sunday, June 10, at Centennial Lakes Park, 7499 France Ave. S. The event will run
from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature boat sailing, racing and showings along the shores of the
park’s central pond.
“This is a great family event and a wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon at the park,” said
Centennial Lakes Park Manager Tom Shirley.
Boats will also be on display inside the Hughes Pavilion where members of the club will be available
to answer questions about model boats.
“The club members will have their model boats on display inside of the Pavilion so people can get up
close and get their questions answered,” said Shirley.
