Author’s Studio at Edina Art Center Aug. 11
Edina, Minn., Aug. 11, 2018 – The Edina Art Center will host the next Author’s Studio 10-11 a.m.
Saturday, Aug. 11, in the Margaret Foss Gallery, 4701 W. 64th St.
This Author’s Studio features Stephanie Glaros’ storytelling project “Humans of Minneapolis,” starting with a
brief talk and followed by a question-and-answer session. The project started in 2010 as a blog that focuses on
empathy and connecting with people through personal accounts of joy, loss, transformation and community.
Glaros is a teacher, artist, author and speaker whose work has taught her the vital importance of listening to
others. She believes the things people have in common are more powerful than those that divide.
The Humans of Minneapolis book is a curated collection of the best stories and photographs Glaros collection.
The book will be available for purchase and signing.
