Walk With the Mayor Scheduled for Feb. 16
Edina, Minn., Feb. 7, 2019 – The February Walk With the Mayor is scheduled for 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Feb.
16. The walk will be held at the Galleria Edina, 3510 Galleria. Participants should meet near the Starbucks
near Door 4.
“We had great participation at our walk in January, when we also roamed the halls of Galleria,” said Mayor
Jim Hovland. “There is lots of good conversation to be had, great window shopping and fine coffee, too.
Please join us for a nice warm winter walk in a very pleasant environment.”
Participating in the Walk with the Mayor gives community members a chance to voice concerns, share
opinions and thoughts as well as just talk with Hovland while getting to know the city a little bit better. No
prior registration is required to attend Walk With the Mayor; simply show up at the designated meeting time
to walk and talk with Mayor Hovland.
The next walk will be held 9-10 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at Southdale Center.
Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes. For more information or to suggest a location for a
