Edina Liquor Now Delivers to Homes and Businesses
Edina, Minn., April 24, 2019 – Edina Liquor has launched delivery to homes and businesses in the
city.
Delivery is free; the minimum order is $35. Edina Liquor employees process, fill and deliver the
orders.
“This is a free service we are offering to residents and we hope they take advantage of it,” said Josh
Furbish, General Manager of Liquor Operations.
Delivery hours are 3 to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday; noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Furbish says orders will be delivered within two hours during the delivery window, with a goal of
one hour.
Customers begin by visiting EdinaLiquor.com, where they can peruse thousands of options for beer,
wine and spirits. All they need to do is set up an account, select their items, choose delivery or in-
store pickup, and pay.
More products will be added each month. Rare or limited-release items won’t be available for order.
Furbish noted that the person who accepts the delivery must be the same one who placed the
order. Drivers will ask for identification to verify that. Also, deliveries will be made only to homes or
businesses. Customers do not have to be Edina residents, but the deliveries must be to an Edina
address. The program might expand later, Furbish said.
Customers picking up in store must enter the store and show identification. Liquor laws do not
allow curbside delivery.
Online ordering and delivery are just the latest convenience options for Edina Liquor customers. All
three store locations are still be open regular hours seven days a week.
