RECEIVING FEASIBILITY STUDIES FOR
NEIGHBORHOOD STREET RECONSTRUCTION:
54TH STREET WEST, IMPROVEMENT NO. BA-416
TODD PARK F(2014 ST. LOUIS PARK STREETS), IMPROVEMENT BA-418
WHEREAS, at the request of Edina City Engineer, studies have been prepared by staff with reference to the
proposed Improvement Nos. BA-416 and BA-418, the improvement of 54th Street West and Todd Park F (2014 St. Louis
Park Streets), and these studies are hereby received by the Council on December 3, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the studies provide information regarding whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-
effective, and feasible; whether they should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement;
the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate
individual assessments for affected parcels;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDINA, MINNESOTA:
1. The council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with said studies and
the possible assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statute, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of$176,576 (BA-416) and $99,900(BA-418).
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 10th day of December,
2013, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 6:00 p.m. and t e Clerk shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improvement as required y w
