Page 3 the 1st bullet: According to historical maps __% of the Morningside Neighborhood was Wetlands. Page 4 Regarding “The Task Force seem to favor a more aggressive build it now strategy”.  I am not sure that is fully accurate.  Perhaps it would be more accurate to state: Those Task Force Members who have experienced flooding favor a more aggressive build it now strategy.  I think that we need to explore building options that are fiscally responsible in light of benefits gained. Page 7 I do not agree that the City and homeowners have EQUAL responsibility to improve storm water management.  I believe that all have roles to play in managing storm water. Page 7 I do not agree that “residents should take responsibility for ALL runoff from their private property”. Residents should be educated about the downstream effect of  their runoff and consider making reasonable drainage modifications to try to reduce their runoff. Page 8. Edina Parks and Edina Public Schools should be encouraged to enter into a dialog with the City Council about what role Parks/Open Space might play in temp water storage. However, I do not agree that flood protection in most cases should take priority over other park uses. Sorry, that I will not be able to attend the Meeting tomorrow night, I am in California till later this week. Tried my best to review and pull together some comments for you to consider. Great job to Ross and other Staff who worked on writing the report.  You did a good job of pulling together some pretty obtuse conversations.
