Market Street to Close for Three Days
Edina, Minn., Sept. 5, 2019 – Market Street between the U.S. Post Office, 3948 Market St.,
and the North Ramp entrance will close in both directions from Monday, Sept. 16 to Wednesday, Sept. 18, as crews remove the stationary crane for the Nolan Mains project.
During this time, the North Ramp can be accessed from Market Street via France Avenue. The U.S. Post Office can still be accessed from Market Street.
Beginning Thursday, Sept. 19, Market Street will reopen to one-way traffic. The road is expected to reopen to two-way traffic Oct. 1.
“This is one giant step toward the project being complete,” said Project Coordinator Pat Tucker. “We’ve appreciated everyone’s patience and look forward to the vibrancy this new development
will bring to 50th & France.”
The new Center Ramp will open Nov. 1. With more than 100 additional parking spaces, this complements the newly expanded North Ramp, which provides nearly 550 parking spaces.
