Edina City Council to hold ‘Virtual Town Hall’ Meeting Oct. 29
Edina, Minn., Sept. 15, 2019 – The Edina City Council will hold a “Virtual Town Hall” meeting 8-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, on the City’s Facebook page.
Those interested in interacting with the Council online should visit Facebook.com/EdinaMN during the hour and post questions. City Council Members will do their best to acknowledge comments
and answer questions during that time. As with other public meetings, Council Members will not be able to give their personal opinions or comment on matters for which future public
hearings have been scheduled.
One of the City’s ongoing goals is to provide inclusive engagement by offering a variety of ways for the public to participate and ensure all voices are heard. The goal of the Virtual
Town Hall meeting is to give residents another way to interact with the City Council and engage with residents who might not have an opportunity or preference to do so otherwise.
An in-person Town Hall meeting will be held 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Edina Senior Center.
