Walk With the Mayor Scheduled for Oct. 19
Edina, Minn., Oct. 3, 2019 – The October Walk With the Mayor is scheduled for 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Arden Park, 5230 Minnehaha Blvd.
“Join me this month as crews continue to wrap up restoration of Arden Park,” said Mayor Jim Hovland. “There is still more work to be done from primarily a landscaping standpoint, but
the new playground equipment has been installed, the creek re-meander work and the storm swales are completed and there is also a beautiful new park shelter building under construction.
I will meet you by the new building.”
Participating in the Walk with the Mayor gives community members a chance to voice concerns, share opinions and thoughts as well as just talk with Hovland while getting to know the city
a little bit better. No prior registration is required to attend Walk With the Mayor; simply show up at the designated meeting time to walk and talk with Hovland.

9 a.m. Saturday, Jan 18, Braemar Field walking path
9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, Galleria
9 a.m. Saturday, March 21, Southdale Center
9 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 50th & France
9 a.m. Saturday, May 16, Rosland Park
6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, Fred Richards Park
Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes. In the event of inclement weather, the walk will be held at Southdale Center. For more information or to suggest a location for a
