Hawthorne offered the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION VACATING STREET -- r
W.48TH STREET EX'T'ENDING EAST FROM
'WESTBROOK LANE FOR DISTANCE OF 135
FEET MORE OR LESS
MHEREAS petition of a majority of the owners of real property abutting that
portion of ToFkgth Street which extends East from Westbrook Lane for a distance o f
135 Feet more or less, has been duly filed with the Village Council, and said
Council has heard all interested persons, and it appears in the interest of the
public that said portion of said street be vacated, now therefore
BE Tr RESOLVED by the Village Council of the village of Edina that THAT PORTION
OF W.48TH STREET WHICH EXTENDS EAST FROM WESTBROOK LANE FOR A DISTANCE OF 135
MORE OR LESS, as the same is now dedicated and laid out within the corporate limits
of said Village be hereby vacated.
Motion for adoption of the Resolution was seconded byBredesen , and on Rollcall
vote,the following voted for the Resolution:Bredesen, Danens, Hawthorne and
Erickson,
and the following voted against same: No Nay votes
whereby the Resolution was declared adopted.
