CONVEYANCE OF FORFEITED LANDS
Issued pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 282.01, Subdivision 1.
THIS INDENTURE, made this day of July 19-w--, between the
State of Minnesota, as party of the first part, and the Tillage of Edina,
a gc areuenta* subdivision , as party' of the second part, WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the and hereinafter described wad duly forfeited to the State of Minnesota for the
nonpayment of taxes,,;and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota St,tion 282.01, Subdivision 1, the party of the
second part has applied to the Commissioner of for the conveyance of lands hereinafter described
to be used by it exclusively for =public RWk and p),srvg mmd purposes
, and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the Cou o n4 ,
State of Minnesota, has recommended to the Commissioner of y resolution adopted on
the 4th day of June 19-57_, that such conveyance be made,
NOW, THEREFORE, The State of Minnesota, pursuant to said laws and in consideration of the
:premises, does hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the party of the second parti forever, all
•ire tracts or parcels of land lying and being in the County of Remain , State of
' Minna, described as follows, to-wit:
That part of Lot It Block 8v Samy Slope Sectionp Country Club District,
Southerly of a line running from a point in the Westerly line of said Lot distant
52 feet Southerly measured along the Westerly The of said Lot from the Northwest
corner thereof to a point in the Easterly line of said Lot 110.33 feet Southerly
measured along the Easterly line of said ' Lot from the Northeast corner thereof*
all according to the recorded plat (Parcel No. 37375 - 1949); the west 3 feet of
the last 30 feet of that part of Lot 5, Block S. *White Investment Company's
Hiddit Valley* lying North of a line running East at right angles from the West
line of said East 30 feet at a point 200 feet North along said line from the
South line of said Lot, according to the recorded plat (Parcel No. 37378 - 1949)9
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME, together with all the hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, to the said party of the second part so long as it
shall continue to use said land for the purposes aforesaid, and upon condition that if such use shall
cease said land shall revert to the party of the first part as provided by law.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the State of Minnesota of the first part, has caused this
deed to be executed in its name by the Commissioner of phis offices in the City of St. Paul,
Ramsey County, Minnesota, the day and year first above written.
