Tupa offered the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION VACATING PORTION OF
GOLF TERRACE
WHEREAS, a majority of the owners of the land abutting that portion of
Golf Terrace lying Easterly of Lot 1, Block 2, Golf Terrace Heights and Northerly
of a line running from the most Northerly corner of Lot 2, Block 2, Golf Terrace
Heights to a point in the South line of Lot 1, Block 3, Golf Terrace Heights,
which is 86.74 feet Westerly of the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 3, Golf
Terrace Heights, as the same is recorded in the office of the Register of
Deeds of Hennepin County, Minnesota, have petitioned for the Vacation of
said Street; and
WHEREAS, two weeks' published notice and posted notice of a hearing to be
had on said petition on October 14, 1957, at 7:30 p.m., has been given and made,
and a hearing has been had thereon by the Village Council:
NOV;, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of
Edina, Hennepin County, Minnesota, that
That portion of Golf Terrace lying Easterly of Lot 1, Block 2, Golf
Terrace Heights and Northerly of a line running from the most Northerly
corner of Lot 2, Block 2, Golf Terrace Heights to a point in the South
line of Lot 1, Block 3, Golf Terrace Heights, which is 86.74 feet
Westerly of the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 3, Golf Terrace
Heights, as platted and of record in the office of the Register of
Deeds of Hennepin County, Minnesota,
be, and is hereby vacated.
Adopted this 14th day of October, 1957.
