Beim offered t1he following resolution and moved its adoption:

u"IE -TEAS, a majority cf the owners of Lot 1 and the East One -Hal of ,
Lot 2, Mock 2, Stevens First Addition and Lot 7, Block 2, Stevens First
Addition have petitioned for the Vacation of that East - '.'lest Alley lying
between said lots; and
WHEREAS, two weeks' publ , hed notice and' posted notice of a hearing
to be had on said petition on `ipril 10, 1959, at 7:00 p.m., has been given
and made, and a hearing has been had tfiereon by the Village Council:
NO':J, THEi EFO IE, BE IT III SOLVED by the Village Council of the Village
of Edina, Hennepin County, ;Minnesota, that
"That certain East =Jest Alley lying between Lot One and the East
One -Half of Lot Two, Block Two, Stevens First Addition and Lot
Seven, Bloc:: Two, Stevens First Addition, as the same is recorded
in the office of the Register of Deeds of Iennepin County,
;'iinnesota, be and is 'hereby vacated for a distance of 120 feet
'lest -from the '.Jest line of Indianola Avenue, to the C:'est line
of the - ast One -Half of Lot T,,-,,o, Block T,ao, Stevens first
Addition."
Motion for adoption of Resolution Vacating Alley was seconded by Tupa, and
on ilollcall there were four ayes and no nays, as follows: Beim, aye;
Kohler, aye; Tupa, aye; and Bredesen, aye; and the Resolution was adopted.
Adopted this 13th day of Ppril, 1959.
