EASEMENT FOR FLOWAGE, STORAGE, AND DRAINAGE
This instrument made this 27th day of November, 1961, by and between
husband and wife,
JOHN P. KNUTSON and HELEN D. KNUTSOIy/of the County of Hennepin and
State of Minnesota, parties of the first part and the VILLAGE OF EDINA, a muni-
cipal corporation organized under the laws of the State of Minnesota, party of the
second part,
WITNESSETH:
That the parties of the first part in consideration of the sum of One and
Nq/100 ($1 .00) Dollars and other good and valuable consideration to them in hand
paid by the said party of the second port, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
do Grant, Bargain, Sell, Convey and Warrant to said party of the second part on
Easement on perpetuity for the flowage, storage and drainage of surface waters,
natural or otherwise, in, on and over the following described property situate in the
County of Hennepin and State of Minnesota, to -wit:
All that portion of Lot 14, Block 4, LAKE EDINA SECOND ADDITION
described as follows: That triangular portion of the rear of soic' lot measured
from the Northwest corner along the Northerly border in an Easterly
direction for 50.73 feet; thence in a Southerly direction to the South-
west corner of said lot; thence in a Northwesterly direction to the point
of origin according to the plot thereof on file and of record in the office
of the Registrar of Titles in and for Hennepin County.
Parties of the first port understand that this portion of Lot 14, Block 4, Lake
Edina Second Addition, Is below the Eight Hundred Twenty -five (825) feet, 1929 sea
level datum according to a survey which the Stow Company has furnished the Village
of Edina.
