CONVEYANCE OF FOAFSITSD LANDS
(Issued pursuant-to Laws 1941, Chapter 511) J,
THIS INDF,NTURE, made thi829t4 day of September . 194_!, between the State
of kinnesota, as party of the first part, and VILLAGE OF MORNINGSIDE, A MUNICIPAh COR-
PORATIONJ , as party of the second part, WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, the land hereinafter described was duly forfeited to the State of
klinnesota for the nonpayment of taxes, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Laws 1941, Chapter 511, the party of the second part has
applied to the Commissioner of Taxation for the conveyance of lands hereinafter des-
cribed to be used by it exclusively for drainage purposes
and
WHEREAS, the hoard of County Commissioners of the County of Hennepin ,
State of Minnesota, has recommended to the Commissioner of Taxation by resolution
adopted on the 14th day of September 194.A, that such conveyance be made,
NOVO, THEREFORE, The State of kinnesota, pursuant to said laws and in considera-
tion of the premises, does hereby grant,,bargain, sell and convey unto the party of
the second part, forever, all the tracts or parcels of land lying and being in the
County of Henne-pin State of kinnesota, described as follows, to -wit:
Lot seven (7), Block-two (2), Crocker & Crowell's First
Addition, South thirty-five feet (S351) of Lot twenty -
six (26), and Lots thirty, thirty -one, forty- eight, forty-
nine, seventy -five and seventy -six (30, 31, 489 499 75 and
r 76), Maaningside; Yiliage o Morningside,
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME, together with all the Y_:ereditaiients and appur-
tenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, to the said party of, the,'
second part so long as it shall .continue to use said land for the purposes aforesaid,
and upon condition that if such use shall cease said land shall revert to the party of
the first part.
IN TESTIh1OkY WHEREOF, the State of kiinnesota, party of the first.part, has
caused this deed to be executed in its name by the Commissioner of Taxation at the
Capitol in the City of St. Paul in said state and day ar4i year first above written.
