Re: Release of Tax Forfeited Land
Tract B. RLS No. 519
Dear Florence:
The other day you called to check on the status of the release
of tax forfeited land which the Village gave to the State sometime back
in April of this year. This is to advise you that that release has been
completed. The reconveyance to the State of all but the East 70 feet of
said Tract B was recorded in the Office of the Registrar of Titles as
Document No. 907943, on Certificate of Title No. 373353. Also, the Order
of the State consenting to a change of use of the East 70 feet from
roadway slope purposes to drainage purposes. was filed on that same
Certificate as Document No. 910313. A photocopy of that Order is enclosed
for your file. This now completes that transaction.

RESOLUTION •
WHEREAS, that part of Tract B, Registered Land Survey
519 lying Northeasterly of tract A and Northwesterly of County
Road 62 has been included on the "List of Tax Forfeited Land No.
641-C", and
WHEREAS, these lots have been acquired by the Village of
Edina for drainage purposes)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor Pro Tem and
Clerk of this Village are hereby authorized and directed to convey
the property listed above back to the State of Minnesota for resale,
provided, however that the East 70 feet of that part of Tract B
lying Northeasterly of Tract A and Northwesterly of County Road No.
62 be retained by the Village for drainage purposes and said
officials shall execute such conveyance herewith, in form approved'
by the Attorney General.
