2014 Edina Winter Neighborhood Night Out is Jan. 24
Edina, Minn., Jan. 3, 2014 – For the seventh year running, the Edina Parks & Recreation Department is
pleased to host the Winter Neighborhood Night Out. Connect with your neighbors at the warming house
and ice rink near your home! This year’s event is scheduled for 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24.
Festivities will be spaced out over 12 parks: Arden Park, 5230 Minnehaha Blvd.; Cornelia School Park, 7142
Cornelia Drive; Creek Valley Park, 6301 Gleason Road; Countryside Park, 6240 Tracy Ave.; Highlands Park,
5200 Doncaster Way; Lewis Park, 7300 Cahill Road; Normandale Park, 6501 Warren Ave.; Pamela Park, 4301
W. 58th St.; Strachauer Park, 6200 Beard Ave. S.; Todd Park, 4429 Vandervork Ave.; Walnut Ridge Park, 5801
Londonderry Road; and Weber Park, 4115 Grimes Ave. S.
“Winter Neighborhood Night Out is the perfect opportunity to get outside in the winter and connect with
neighbors,” said Recreation Supervisor Kristin Aarsvold.
Plan an activity, bring some games, share refreshments, be creative or ask Parks & Recreation for ideas. Edina
Police will stop by to interact with kids and adults alike.
