The Braemar Golf Course Task Force is a six- to eight-month project, with the volunteer positions beginning in July. Task force members will have the ability to provide significant input, direction and guidance to the Braemar master planning process. Members of the task force will:  Assist in the request for proposal development process;  Participate in the master plan consultant selection process, including interviews;  Facilitate the public input process with staff and the master plan consultant;  Provide direction to consultant based on collective feedback;  Endorse the master plan; and  Assist in the master plan presentation to the Park Board and City Council. “As Braemar turns 50 years old this year, this is an exciting opportunity to take a close look at Braemar Golf Course and plan for course and facility improvements that will make Edina proud long into the future,” explained Parks & Recreation Director Ann Kattreh. “The master plan will help us to provide a golf complex that will meet the golfing interests of people of all ages and abilities and will help us to prioritize improvements accordingly.” Residents interested in serving on the task force should apply online at www.EdinaMN.gov/jobs.
