HomeMy WebLinkAbout1441.I? c. 0 GENERAL WARRANTY DEED STATE OF MINNESOTA SS COUNTY OF HENNEPIN THIS INDENTURE, made this 2.1 day of J L1 C1 e. 19692 between UNION OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a California corporation, with an office at 200 East Golf Road, Palatine, Cook County, Illinois, herein called "Grantor ", and VILLAGE OF EDINA, of the County of Hennepin and State of Minnesota, herein called "Grantee," Witnesseth: That Grantor, for and in consideration of Ten Dollars ($10.00) cash and other valuable consideration to it in hand paid by Grantee, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Grantee, its successors and assigns, forever, the following described real estate situate in Edina, Hennepin County, Minnesota, to -wit: That part of Lot 42, Auditor's Subdivision No. 172, Hennepin County, Minnesota described as beginning at a point in West line of said Lot 42, distant 76.11.£eet South of Northwest corner thereof; thence South along said West line 91.89 feet; thence East parallel with North line of said Lot 42, a distance of 9.36 feet; thence Northerly deflecting to the left 900 21' 22 ", a distance of 11.17 feet; thence Northerly on a tangential curve to the left with a radius of 353.33 feet, a distance of 81.5 feet to the point of beginning. Subject to any and all restrictions, covenants, con- ditions, zoning ordinances, rights -of -way and easements of record, if any affecting said land. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME, together with all the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, unto the said Grantee, its successors and assigns, forever. And the said Grantor, for itself and its successors, does covenant with the said Grantee, its successors and assigns, that it has not made, done, ex- ecuted or suffered any act or thing whatsoever, whereby the above de- scribed premises or any part thereof now or at any time hereafter Y/ shall or may be imperiled, charged or incumbered in any manner whatsoever; and that it will forever warrant and defend the title to the above granted premises against all persons lawfully claim- ing the same.
