WHEREAS, National Food Stores, Inc., is the owner of a certain parcel
of Land in the Village of Edina described as follows;
927 -8861
That part of hots 42 and 43, Auditor's Subdivision No. 172, described
as follows
Commencing at a point located 206 feat North of the Southwest
corner of said Lot 43 as measured along the West line thereof
and 22.75 feet. East of the West line of said tot 43 as measured
along a line parallel to the South lines thereof; thence West
parallel to the South line of Dots 42 and 43 to the West line
of Lot 42; thence South along the West line of Lot 42 A distance
of 126 feet; thence East parallel with the South line of Lots
42 and 43 a distance of 120.75 feet; thence North parallel with
the Nest line of Lot 43 a distance of 108 feet, thence Northwest-
erly to the point of commencement, except the North 18 feet of
the West 98 feet thereof, according to the recorded plat thereof
on ;pile in the office of the Hennepin County Registrar of Deeds;
and

WHEREAS, said owner has requested approval of the Village of Edina, of
the conveyance and ownership of the above described land as a separate
parcel; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that compliance with the Subdivision
and Zoning Regulations of the Village of Edina will create an unneces-
sary hardship and said tract of hand as a separate parcel does riot inter-
fere: with the purpose: of the Subdivision and Zoning Regulations as
contained in the Village of Edina Ordinance Numbers 261 and 263 -A
NOW* "L`fiEMORS# it is hereby resolved by the Village Council of the Vilo-
lag# of Edina that the conveyance and ownership of the above described
tract of land as a separate parcel is hereby approved and the require-
ments and provisions of Ordinance Nos. 261 and 263 -A are hereby waived
as; 'to said division and conveyance, subject, however, to the provision
that no further subdivision be made of the above described tract of land
unless made in compliance with the pertinent ordinances . of the Village
4f Edina or with the prior approval of this Council as may be provided
r by these ordinances,

Village Council at its Regular Meeting, held Monday, January 20, 1969,
and as recorded in the Minutes of said Regular Meeting.
