HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2020-72_Accepting_Utilities_and_Sidewalk RESOLUTION NO. 2020-72 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING UNDERGROUND UTILITIES AND SIDEWALK WHEREAS, Paragraph 24 of the October 3, 2016 Development Contract for the Lincoln Drive Residences states in part: “The Developer warrants the Public Improvements against defects in workmanship and materials[.]” The warranty period for sidewalks ran for one year following completion, and is now complete. The warranty period for underground utilities ran for two years following completion and is now complete. The Engineering Department has conducted its final inspection and found the improvements were constructed consistent with the approved plans and specifications and recommends acceptance of the underground utility and sidewalk improvements associated with the Lincoln Drive Residences development. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDINA, MINNESOTA: The underground utilities and sidewalks in the Lincoln Drive Residences are accepted and will become public on the date this resolution is adopted.
