Heritage Preservation Commission
VIRTUAL MEETING
Tuesday, November 10, 2020
Call to Order
Chair Schilling called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Roll Call
Answering roll call were members Lonnquist, Pollock, Cundy, Birdman (7:02), Widmoyer, Nymo, Everson, Hassenstab, Chair Schilling, and student member Maheshwari (7:05). Emily Bodeker,
staff liaison, and preservation consultant, Robert Vogel were also in attendance.
Approval of Meeting Agenda
Motion made by Nymo seconded by Pollock to approve the meeting agenda as presented. All voted aye. The motion carried.
Approval of Meeting Minutes
Motion made by Pollock seconded by Nymo to approve the meeting minutes from the virtual October 13, 2020 meeting. All voted aye. The motion carried.
Reports/Recommendations
A. COA: 4634 Edgebrook Place
Staff notified the Heritage Preservation Commission that the applicant intends to submit final house plans at an upcoming meeting. Staff wanted it on the agenda because original notices
that were sent to property owners within 200 feet had the November HPC meeting date. Property owners within 200 feet will be notified again when final plans are submitted.
Chair and Member Comments
Commissioner Pollock asked for an update on the report consultant Vogel was drafting as a response to a student correspondence received at the October meeting. Consultant Vogel and Liaison
Bodeker gave an update and told the HPC they would reach out to the student to give an update.
Special Recognitions and Presentations
Preservation Planning & Identification and Evaluation of Heritage Resources
Consultant Vogel gave a presentation to the Heritage Preservation Commission.
Staff Comments: None
Adjournment
Motion by Hassenstab seconded by Lonnquist to adjourn the Heritage Preservation Commission meeting at 8:13 p.m. All voted aye. The motion carried.
