Participants should meet at the trailhead at 70th Street and Amundson Avenue. The group will head east toward the Edina Promenade and then head back. Taking part in the event gives community members a chance to voice concerns, share opinions and thoughts as well as just talk with Anderson while getting to know the city a little bit better. No prior registration is required to attend the walk; simply show up at the designated meeting time to bike and talk with Anderson. “I’m looking forward to a fun Fall bike ride over a portion of the Nine Mile Creek trail, seeing Fred Richards Park’s colors, and then through a bit of the Promenade,” Anderson said. “Pace will be appropriate for all age groups, and riders will be home before lunch!” Participants should dress in layers and a mask and maintain a six-foot distance from one another when necessary. For more information or to suggest a location for a future walk, contact the Communications Department at 952-826-0359. -30-
