Create a Climate Action Plan Working Group to provide feedback and support for the plan development. The working group will report to the EEC which will provide formal recommendation to Council. Develop a program with realtors to give sellers the opportunity to showcase environmental improvements to their homes (such as insulation). Coordination with other cities on climate action., Advocating for street sweeping, Education and engagement on water initiatives. Study and report on inequities in the environmental movement. Research enforcement of state law requiring water sensors for irrigation systems and other water saving tools, including rebates. Exploring ways of partnering with under-served/other communities to outreach/educate businesses. Community wide environmental event listening to what the community is saying.
