NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF PROCEEDINGS
ON STREET VACATION IN THE CITY OF EDINA,
HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cit Council of Edina, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, on September 15, 1975, adopted a Resolution Vacating a Portion
of Old County Road 18 and Old County Road 62 after public hearing and
notice thereof as required by law and after determining it to be in the best
interest of the City and of the public that said street vacation be made,
which resolution ordered the vacation of the following described streets
all as platted and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and
for Hennepin County, Minnesota:

Township 117, Range 21, lying southerly of the easterly extension of
the southerly right of way of Westward Way as platted in DATA 100
1ST ADDITION, according to the record plat thereof, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, and lying West of a line drawn parallel to and 33.00 feet
East of.the following described line
Commencing at a point on 'the West line of said Section distant
1320.84 feet North of the southwest corner thereof; thence run
South along the West line of said Section for a distance of
33.04 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be de-
scribed; thence continuing South along said West line a distance
of 258.92 feet.
And that part of said Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 31.
lying easterly of the west line of said Section 31 and lying 33.00 feet
on each side, as measured at right angles to and parallel with the
following described line:
Beginning at the point of terminus of the last described line;
thence deflect left from said West line of Section 31, along a
tangential curve having a radius of 381.97 feet (delta angle
410321) for to 'distance: of 276.39 Alcet; t1nance tangaint to said
curve for a distance of 3.89 feet; thence deflect right along
a tangential curve having a radius of 383.15 feet (delta angle
44 0201) for a distance of 296.47 feet; thence tangent to said
curve for a distance of 162.41 feet; thence deflect right along
a tangential curve having a radius of 122.36 feet (delta angle
98 °10118 ") for a distance of 209.64 feet; thence tangent to
said curve for a distance of 50 feet more or less to the West
line of said Section and there terminating.
The side lines of the. above described land are to be lengthened or
shortened as to terminate on said west line of Section 31.
The time of completion of proceedings and the effective date of said vacation
is this date, September 15, 1975.

Said vacation did not affect, and there was continued, reserved, and retained
-.by the said resolution ordering the vacation, the following existing easements
and authority in, on and under the above vacated area:
The authority of Northern States Power Company to retain utility ease-
ment within said described vacation of portions of Old County Road 18
and Old County Road 62 in order to maintain, replace and remove under-
ground conduit, cables, wires and poles required for electric lines to
provide service to customers along this route; and
The authority of Northwestern Bell Telephone Company to retain utility
easement within said described vacation of portions of Old County Road
18 and Old County Road 62 in order to maintain, replace and remove.
underground conduit, manholes, cables, wires and poles required for
telephone communications and electric lines to provide service to
customers along this route.
