Nieland Dear Fran: In accordance with our telephone conversation of. Wednesday, May 17, 1978, I am writing this letter in an attempt to set forth a legal description of the portion of the original highway easement taken by the State of Minnesota which we are requesting be conveyed by the City of Edina to the above - referenced individuals. I am • enclosing a copy of an abstract entry pertaining to the original Final Certificate issued in the condemnation proceedings. I have circled in red thereon the portion of the description which I believe are in excess of the present road usage. I am also enclosing a somewhat illegible map showing the intersection as originally con - templated and a copy of the half section map pertaining to the general area. You should be able to identify the location of the various easements described in the enclosed abstract entry with the aid of such maps. I don't believe that the descriptions in the enclosed abstract entry are very helpful in describing what needs to be released since they arc-'so interdependent upon previously doseribod strips, etc. I would think you would want some - body better able to create legal descriptions than I am to take a crack at it. However, for what it is worth, I would suggest the following legal description for consideration.
