RE: County Road 39 (Valley View Road) Turnback
Dear Mr. Hoffman:
Enclosed is a copy of Hennepin County Resolution No, 83 -10 -710 which
revokes Valley View Road from County jurisdiction and returns the roadway
to the City. This completes the turnback process. Valley View Road
between the west City limits and CSAH 18 is now a City street under Edina
jurisdiction. This turnback is effective immediately.

RESOLUTION NO. 83 -10 -710
The following resolution was offered by Commissioner
Kremer, Chairman, Public Service Committee:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County of Hennepin revoke present County Road 39
(Valley View Road) from the intersection with County State Aid Highway 18, a point
located in the City of Edina approximately 530 feet east and 1230 feet south of
the northwest corner of Section 7, Township 116, Range 21, thence west along
Valley View Road to Washington Avenue, which is also the east limits of the City
of Eden Prairie, south along Washington Avenue to Valley View Road, thence
southwesterly along Valley View Road to the intersection with Trunk Highway 169, a
point approximately 130 feet west and 1320 feet south of the east quarter corner
of Section 11, Township 116, Range 22 and there terminating, and that this roadway
be returned to the cities of Edina and Eden Prairie to be under their jurisdiction
as a municipal street.
The question was on the adoption of the resolution and there were seven
YEAS and no NAYS, as follows:
