EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES
THIS INSTRUMENT, Made this 24th day of JUNE 19$E_,
by and between Edina Country Club, Inc.
a corporation under the laws of the State of Minnesota, party of
the first part, and the City of Edina, a municipal corporation organized
under the laws of the State of Minnesota, party of the second part;
WITNESSETH, That the said party of the first part, in consideration
of One and No /100 Dollars ($1.00), to it in hand paid by the said party of
the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, does Grant,
Bargain, Sell, Convey, and Warrant to said party of the second part an
Easement in perpetuity for public road purposes in, under, and over the
following described property situate in the County of Hennepin and State
of Minnesota, to -wit:
That part of the Southwest Quarter (SW314) of Section 18, Township 28, Range
24 described as follows:
A 5 foot wide strip of land lying Southerly of and adjacent to the Southerly
right -of -way line of West 50th Street (old State Aid Road No. 20) and ly-
ing between the centerline of Minnehaha Creek and a point of curve of the
right -of -way of said West 50th Street located 490 feet more or less West
of the centerline of Minnehaha Creek.
Also a 10 foot wide strip of land lying Southerly of and adjacent to the
South line of said West 50th Street and lying between the above described
point of curve and the Southeasterly line of Eden Avenue.
